Printed on archival grade Hahnemühle photo rag paper in collaboration with Ki’ikau Printers, a Native Hawaiian woman-owned business on O’ahu. Shaun personally inspects each print before it is shipped out to ensure quality. Prints come signed, borderless, unmatted, and unframed. Carbon offsets are bought for shipping emissions. About this print: Taken in 2021 in Death Valley, Shaun arrived at these dunes hoping to catch some beautiful contrasty shots around sunset. Instead, him and his camera equipment got pelted with sand after putting in a decent effort to climb deep into the dunes. The high winds were constant and the shots weren’t coming. He went home thinking he got nothing from that night. To his surprise, he found this with fresh eyes as he went through those photos and it’s become a favorite. Shaun will donate 5% of the proceeds from this print to the Death Valley Fund, which conducts research and conservation projects on the endemic and critically imperiled pupfish in the area.
